Please join us on the evening of September 10 to "run, walk or roll" on the scenic 5K course through the streets of Lake Forest. The Twilight run is the largest 5K race in Chicago featuring disabled and nondisabled athletes - competing together! It includes divisions for runners who have a physical or visual impairment, manual wheelchairs, track chairs and handcycles, and awards by division and age categories.
Stay for the post-race party featuring live music by the local band Out of Storage, great food, and cool beverages for the whole family - fresh barrel root beer provided by Sprecher's and Flatlander's micro-brew beer. All proceeds benefit GLASA, the Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association which provides sports and recreation for people with physical or visual disabilities in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin.
