Three of GLASA’s Athletes Headed to Rio!

Three of GLASA’s athletes will be competing at the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio this September. Sam Grewe, a senior at Northridge High School, Middlebury, Indiana, and Nick Slade, a sophomore at the University of New Mexico, are two of forty men and twenty-six women who have been selected to the U.S. Paralympic Track & Field Team. Naperville native Alyssa Gialamas, a sophomore at Loyola University, Baltimore, Maryland, was named to the U.S. Paralympic Swimming Team, which includes twenty-one women and ten men.  The 2016 Paralympic Games will be held September 7-18 and will be televised on NBC Universal stations.  You can also keep up with the games at TeamUSA.org and USParalympics.org.
