GLASA offers sport and recreation programs that are specifically designed to meet the needs of injured military veterans with physical and visual disabilities. GLASA welcomes veterans to join into any of our 20+ on going programs. GLASA also offers:
- Sport clinics at the Milwaukee VA
- Sport clinics at the Hines VA
- Golf Programs for Injured Veterans
- Swim and Water Aerobics Programs for Injured Veterans
- Special Events
GLASA also supports the National Veterans Wheelchair Games and the Midwest Valor Games.
GLASA receives support from the Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs and the VA Adaptive Sports Grant in order to provide programming to veterans. All veterans are invited to join into GLASA programs at no charge.
